Tourist Visas
An ordinary tourist visa is issued for a period of up to one month. To apply for a TOURIST VISA to enter the Russian Federation, the applicant must personally submit to the consular section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation the following documents:
1) A valid passport which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for at least six months after the expiry date of the visa.
2) A properly and fully completed and printed visa application form (one per person): http://visa.kdmid.ru
3) Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.
4) Original Confirmation of a reception of a foreign tourist issued by a host Russian Travel Agency (Tourist voucher).
5) Booked and payed tickets to Russia and back.
6) Confirmation of booking and payment from your hotel.
7) Statement from your bank account.
8) HR Letter from your employer.
Please note that a hotel booking only is not sufficient for a visa application. Hotel must be fully prepaid for the whole period of your visit.
It is advisable to present a document confirming the full payment of hotel services, for example, a receipt of payment, a confirmation letter from the hotel, etc.
Tourist visa is single-entry for a period of up to 3 months.
Tourist visas are issued only after the approval procedure, which lasts 30 days after the submission of all documents and payment of the consular fee of 4160 Egyptian pounds.
In case of refusal to issue a visa, the money will not be returned.
Please note, that passports will be at the Consular Section during all the period of the consideration.
ABOUT MULTIPLE TOURIST VISA
Now it is also possible to issue multiple entry visa for up to 6 months based on confirmation of a reception of a foreign tourist (tourist voucher) issued by a host Russian Travel Agency.The total period of stay of a foreign tourist on the territory of the Russian Federation with a multiple-entry tourist visa cannot exceed 90 days during each period of 180 days.
In addition, the Federal Law provides for the possibility of issuing an ordinary tourist visa on the basis of a hotel reservation confirmation, information about which is contained in a single list of classified hotels, ski slopes and beach resorts. An ordinary tourist visa issued on this basis can only be single-entry, and its validity is limited to the dates of booking a hotel room.
